Welcome to the Guinness Book of Records collectors' web-site - the superlative, record breaking guide to collecting the Guinness Book of Records, Guinness World Records and other records-related publications and ephemera.

Our site contains full details of all UK editions, most editions from the USA, France and Germany, many of the first editions in other languages, a fast-growing guide to editions in those languages and details of a large number of special and unusual editions. We have sections dedicated to the Guinness Facts & Feats, The Records, Fact Book, Hit Singles and Albums and Gamer's Edition and other spin-off series. Other sections, such as Food & Drink, Film & TV, Sports, Pick & Mix, Toys & Gifts and Odds & Ends have been added to help collectors of more than just the main records series.

You may have chanced upon our site and wondered why anyone would want to collect books of this nature. In our opinion, the answer is very simple: the books were compiled with an attention to detail that is hard to beat; the compilers had a sense of humour, and an understanding of people's interests; and the books contain more than achievements - they represent a fascinating record of our recent past.

Please enjoy our web-site, and please enjoy the books - that's why Norris and Ross McWhirter (and all of the other editors and compilers) went to so much trouble and effort in the first place. If you have any additional information or ideas that will add to (or improve) this site, please let us know.
